About Cal-Therm Insulation

Cal-Therm Insulation was formed in 1974 by Jim Smiles, a veteran of the insulation industry in California. Jim operated the business until 1998 when he handed the firm over to then ‘Project Manger’ - Jim Hensman. Mr. Hensman owned the business until 2011.

In late 2011, Brian Campbell became principal owner of the firm. Brian joined the company in 1986 and had been the Operations Manager since the late 1980’s. Brian began his career in the industrial insulation field in 1968 and has worked on every type of project setting and in several different countries.
